Terms of service.
The agreement between you and Celorus when you use our website, the plugin, your Celorus account or a paid plan. Written to be read.
Who we are
Celorus is a product of Celorus AI Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (Corporate Identity Number U62011HR2026PTC151297), with its registered office at Cabin 432, 4th Floor, Landmark Cyberpark, Sector 67, Gurugram 122102, Haryana, India. In these terms, "Celorus", "we" and "us" mean that company. "You" means the person using Celorus and, where you use it for a firm, that firm.
What these terms cover
These terms apply to celorus.com, the Celorus plugin, your Celorus account and dashboard, your desk, and every plan we offer: Solo, Team and Enterprise, and the free workday. An Enterprise customer's signed agreement takes priority over these terms where the two differ. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy page; the rules for refunds and cancellation are on the refund and cancellation policy.
Your account
Celorus is made for work. To create an account you must be at least 18 and, if you sign up for a firm, have the firm's authority to do so. You sign in with an account from a provider we support, such as Google. Keep that sign-in secure: what is done through your account is your responsibility, and you should tell us at once at tech@celorus.com if you think someone else has used it.
Plans, prices and payment
Our plans and their prices are on the pricing page. Prices are shown before tax. Paid plans are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly, and they renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
Paying in US dollars. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders paid in US dollars. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders, and Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase. Paddle adds any sales tax or VAT due in your country at checkout.
Paying in Indian rupees. Celorus AI Technologies Private Limited is the seller. Payments are processed by Razorpay, our payment provider, and we issue a GST tax invoice. GST is added at the rate the law sets.
Price changes. If we change a plan's price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you. A subscription you already pay for moves to the new price at the first renewal that falls at least 30 days after that email. A credit pack is a one-off purchase, so a new pack price applies from the day it is published.
Credits. Some intelligence, such as a reach-out brief or a meeting brief, is paid for in credits, at the prices on the pricing page. A plan's monthly credits refill on the 1st of each month and do not carry over. On a yearly plan, the year's credits are given at the start of the term and lapse at its end. Credits you buy last 12 months from the purchase. Credits are not money: they cannot be cashed out or moved to another firm. Before any single item of 1,000 credits or more, we show its price and wait for your yes.
Cancelling
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your Celorus dashboard, or by writing to tech@celorus.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund and cancellation policy.
Your content and your desk
What you put into Celorus and what your desk makes for you are yours. If you connect your desk's storage in Google Drive, your desk's files stay in your Drive. We use your content only to run the service for you, as the privacy page describes, and we do not use it to train AI models.
On a Team plan, each seat's desk and its content belong to the firm, as the firm's record. The firm's administrator can move a seat to a successor when someone leaves.
The record and what we make from it
Celorus prepares research, briefs and pages from public records and public sources, and every claim carries its source. We work to keep it accurate, but the record can be incomplete or out of date, and a source can be wrong. What Celorus makes is to help you prepare for business conversations. It is not investment, legal, tax or financial advice, and you should check what matters before you rely on it.
Using Celorus fairly
You agree not to:
- break any law, including the data protection and privacy laws that apply when you contact the people Celorus helps you reach;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or direct any communication at a minor;
- resell, republish or bulk-copy the record, or scrape or overload our service;
- get around a limit, a credit charge or a security control, or reach an account that is not yours;
- use Celorus to harass, discriminate against or harm anyone.
Celorus drafts; it never sends a message on your behalf without your own action.
Our service
We keep improving Celorus, so features change. We aim to keep the service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. If we have to remove a feature you pay for, we will tell you first.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using Celorus and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or our service at risk; where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. When an account closes, your desk's files stay in your Drive, and we delete what we hold about you as the privacy page describes, except what the law requires us to keep.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Celorus is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost business, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in those 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurugram, Haryana, have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any right you have under the law of your own country that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by email or in your dashboard before the change applies. The date below shows when they last changed.
